Still Life In Progress

Sooooo, I've transferred the drawing then I start toning it with Gray Tone markers (Prisma Color from 10% to black). I will do this untill the image looks like a finished piece in black and white. Except the areas lighter then the paper, that is not done until the color pencil phase. Ill post the finished tone piece once it is done. Thanks for tuning in, catch you on the flip side!

Still Life In Progress

Once I have the still life drawn in a nice clean line, I make a copy and print it out in a light blue line. On the reverse of that side smear on some pastel over where my line art is. After I have enough pastel I place it on a mid tone paper (in this case Canson felt grey). I use a dark color pencil and trace over the blue line thus imprinting the pastel on to the mid tone paper. This is drawing the same drawing about 3 times but it allows to have the most clean line drawing on the tinted paper, which is needed to be able to be able to use color pencils most effectively . Thanks for tuning in, catch you on the flip side!

Thanks for tuning in and catch you on the flip side.
